Puffin Wooden Plant Pot Companions – Set of 2 | Handmade in England

A cheerful pair of little puffins ready to perch amongst your houseplants. These hand-painted wooden Plant Pot Companions bring a playful coastal touch to indoor greenery, with each bird set on a different length of wire so they can sit naturally at different heights amongst leaves and stems.

The Plant Pot Companions grew from the artist’s love of collecting little treasures — hedgerow finds, pieces of ephemera and interesting objects that gradually become part of the home. Although designed for plant pots, these puffins are just as happy tucked into picture frames, seasonal tablescapes, wreaths, garlands or other decorative displays.

Each companion begins with an original pen-and-ink drawing by an artist inspired by her loved ones, favourite creatures and walks through the Devon countryside with her trusty sidekick, Ned. The designs are laser-cut and engraved from wood before being carefully painted by hand. Each puffin is then attached to a wire stem, backed with recycled paper and finished as a charming decorative companion for the home.

Spring Posy Wooden Plant Pot Companions – Set of 5 | Handmade in England

A little posy of springtime charm, ready to tuck amongst your favourite houseplants. The inspiration behind the posy comes from slow Mother’s Day mornings from the artist’s childhood, when spring flowers were gathered from the hedgerow while toast warmed on the AGA and tea brewed for breakfast in bed. Those little floral tributes were arranged in a blue-and-white bud vase beside marmalade on toast and a favourite Spode mug. Now that the artist’s mother lives further away, this miniature posy offers a way to send a little piece of Devon through the post.

Each little wren begins with an original pen-and-ink drawing by an artist inspired by her loved ones, favourite creatures and walks through the Devon countryside with her trusty sidekick, Ned. The design is laser-cut and engraved from wood before being carefully painted by hand. Each bird is then attached to a wire stem, backed with recycled paper and packed into a bespoke picture-frame-style presentation box.

Angel Wooden Plant Pot Companion | Handmade in England

A little angel to keep close. This pair of hand-painted wooden Angel Plant Pot Companions are a gentle decorative piece designed to tuck amongst the leaves of a favourite houseplant, bringing a small touch of comfort, warmth and whimsy to the home. Particularly lovely as a remembrance or bereavement gift, it can offer a quiet way of letting someone know they are in your thoughts. It also makes a charming Christmas gift, stocking filler or festive addition to your own plants and seasonal decorations.

The Plant Pot Companions grew from the artist’s family tradition of collecting little treasures — hedgerow finds, pieces of ephemera and interesting objects that gradually find their way into the home. They are a happy marriage of upcycling, nature and joyful little details. Although created as companions for plant pots, your angel can happily wander elsewhere too: tuck it into a picture frame, seasonal tablescape, Christmas wreath, garland or anywhere that could use a little guardian angel.
