Elephant Hawk Moth Wooden Plant Pot Companion | Handmade in England - Set of two

Elephant Hawk Moth Wooden Plant Pot Companion | Handmade in England

A tiny winged companion for your houseplants. This hand-painted wooden Elephant Hawk Moth Plant Pot Companion brings a delicate, nature-inspired touch to indoor greenery, adding a little unexpected character amongst leaves and stems. Its miniature scale makes it especially charming tucked into a favourite plant, where it looks as though it has quietly settled amongst its own little jungle.

The Plant Pot Companions grew from the artist’s love of collecting little treasures — hedgerow finds, pieces of ephemera and interesting objects that gradually become part of the home. Although designed for plant pots, this little moth is just as happy tucked into a picture frame, seasonal tablescape, wreath, garland or decorative display.

Each companion begins with an original pen-and-ink drawing by an artist inspired by her loved ones, favourite creatures and walks through the Devon countryside with her trusty sidekick, Ned. The design is laser-cut and engraved from wood before being carefully painted by hand. It is then attached to a wire stem, backed with recycled paper and packed into a bespoke picture-frame-style presentation box.
