Each design begins with an original pen-and-ink drawing, inspired by the artist’s loved ones’ favourite creatures and the things she discovers while wandering the Devon countryside with her trusty sidekick, Ned. The design is then laser-cut and engraved from FSC MDF, carefully painted by hand and finished with a brooch pin back. Presented in a bespoke window box, each little pin carries its own handcrafted character, with subtle variations that make it unique.

The maker takes care to tread lightly, using eco-friendly Little Greene paints, recyclable packaging and minimal white, bleached paper products. Offcuts are put to use wherever possible, and suitable materials that cannot be repurposed are recycled.

Care & Safety

Best suited to dry, sunny days. The water-based painted finish is not guaranteed to withstand wet weather, so keep your brooch away from rain and moisture, and remove it before washing clothing.

Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small and sharp parts. Please recycle the cardboard packaging after use.
