Rather than dwelling on life's impermanence, Momento turns its gaze toward everything worth holding close—love, truth, wonder, and the beauty of the life we're living right now. At the heart of the design, two starlings are silhouetted against a luminous full moon, companions in flight moving together through the darkness. Around them gathers a collection of deeply symbolic imagery: a skull softened by flowers, ethereal luna moths and butterflies representing transformation, sheaves of wheat, snakes winding amongst roses, and sparrows nestled quietly within the branches. Beneath it all, an antique-style banner carries the beautiful words “Memento Vivere” — “Remember to live.” The richly layered artwork is created from original illustrations by celebrated artist Jessica Roux, whose wonderfully detailed work brings warmth and gentleness to traditional symbols of mortality, transformation, and renewal.
