Badger Wooden Plant Pot Companion | Handmade in England - Set of two

Badger Wooden Plant Pot Companions – Set of 2 | Handmade in England

A characterful pair of little badgers ready to wander amongst your houseplants. These hand-painted wooden Plant Pot Companions bring a playful woodland touch to indoor greenery, with each badger set on a different length of wire so they can sit naturally at different heights amongst leaves and stems.

The Plant Pot Companions grew from the artist’s love of collecting little treasures — hedgerow finds, pieces of ephemera and interesting objects that gradually become part of the home. Although designed for plant pots, these badgers are just as happy tucked into picture frames, seasonal tablescapes, wreaths, garlands or other decorative displays.

Each companion begins with an original pen-and-ink drawing by an artist inspired by her loved ones, favourite creatures and walks through the Devon countryside with her trusty sidekick, Ned. The designs are laser-cut and engraved from wood before being carefully painted by hand. Each badger is then attached to a wire stem, backed with recycled paper and finished as a charming decorative companion for the home.

Natural Habitat

Like their name suggests, these companions are perfect friends for your plant pots, but there is no need to stop there. Tuck them into a picture frame, add them to a woodland-inspired tablescape, weave them into a wreath or garland, or let them bring a little countryside character wherever they happen to fit.

Thoughtfully Made

The maker takes care to tread lightly, using water-based Little Greene paints, recyclable packaging and minimal white, bleached paper products. Offcuts are incorporated into products wherever possible, recycled paper is used in the construction of the companions, and suitable materials that cannot be repurposed are recycled.

A Little Gift for Wildlife Lovers

This pair of badgers makes a lovely small gift for wildlife enthusiasts, gardeners and nature lovers. Their handcrafted character and miniature scale make them especially well suited to birthdays, housewarmings or a simple “just because” gift.

Care & Safety

Designed for indoor decorative use. We recommend removing the companions from plant pots before watering and keeping them away from prolonged moisture.

Due to their small parts, wire stems and delicate construction, these decorative companions are not suitable for children.
